We offer fixed fees where the work can be scoped clearly, and competitive hourly rates where cases need flexibility. Exact costs depend on complexity, evidence, and the seniority of the lawyer handling your matter — confirmed in your client care letter.

Immigration

Immigration fees

Hourly rates apply to applications under the Immigration Rules (including student, graduate, talent, youth mobility, visit, spouse and partner visas), British citizenship, and EU Settlement Scheme matters.

Barrister fees typically £1,000 – £5,000 + VAT

  • Home Office application fees are not included and must be paid directly to the Home Office.
  • Delegated work by trainees/caseworkers is billed at £100–£150 per hour with your agreement.
  • We can usually submit applications within 1–3 weeks, depending on document availability.

    Based on the amount agreed by your employer. Invoice usually sent to the employer — typically no direct cost to you for advice within this scope.

Competitive hourly rates for tenants and landlords. Same seniority bands as our standard rates above. Urgent or out-of-hours work may cost more. Case-specific estimates are given at your initial consultation.

Private client consultations

New clients can book a one-hour fixed-fee diagnostic consultation (in person, phone, or email). Charged at our standard hourly rates by seniority — partners typically £300 – £350 for this consultation band on the private clients page.

Disbursements

Third-party costs (interpreters, expert reports, travel to hearings, etc.) are charged separately. We need cleared funds before instructing third parties. Home Office, court and counsel fees are usually paid in addition to our legal fees.

All fees quoted are estimates for guidance purposes and are subject to our client’s care letter, which defines the scope and terms of the retainership between us and our clients.
